Welcome to Erin Park

Breeders of world class cutting horses producing futurity and aged event winners.

DSC02595Erin Park is located in the idyllic Plenty River flats of Whittlesea, just 30 minutes north of Melbourne. Established by Jim Coen in 1975, Jim has been dedicated to breeding quarter horses and producing top quality cutting horse prospects through careful consideration of bloodlines.

Over the years, Jim’s passion and attentive approach to cutting horse breeding has seen Erin Park grow into the reputable quarter horse stud it is today. Beginning with a limited number of broodmares on his Whittlesea property, Jim was able to pay careful attention to every aspect of his breeding program, selecting only proven performers and producers and including mares sired by Dual Rey, Smooth As A Cat, Highbrow Cat, Docs Spinifex, Accidental Doc and Docs Crackin Oak.
Erin Park’s breeding program and ethos is as meticulous today as it was back in 1975. With the best quality bloodlines present in all Erin Park progeny, and the close monitoring of the conditions and development of the foals, Erin Park continues to produce cutting horses of the highest calibre.
